DUNKIN DONUTS STORE OPENS ON RESTAURANT ROWMayor Stephen R. Reed today cut the ribbon during grand opening ceremonies for the new Dunkin Donuts Restaurant, located at 107 N. Second Street in the heart of downtown’s Restaurant Row. It is the first major national chain eatery to open along the busy dining and entertainment district. Reed said the new Dunkin Donuts is owned by Harrisburg Riverfront Enterprises Corporation, and is operated by principal Gary Patel. It is the second Dunkin Donuts to be opened by the company, which expects additional franchise openings throughout the Harrisburg region in 2005. The newly remodeled store occupies 1,400 sq. ft. and can seat up to 12 patrons. Six new full and part-time jobs are created by the store’s opening. “We are delighted to welcome Dunkin Donuts to Harrisburg,” said Mayor Reed, “and are confident of their future success. They have quality products, excellent service and provide downtown visitors with a delectable additional choice for their dining pleasure. Reed said Dunkin Donuts offers their signature freshly-made donuts, hot and cold beverages, and breakfast and other meal menu items. The new downtown store is open Mondays through Saturdays from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Sundays from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The store can be reached at (717) 233.4005. |
