September 25, 2001 — City Begins Newspaper Recycling On November 1; Bundles To Be Picked Up On Normal Recycling Day
Mayor Stephen R. Reed today announced that the City of Harrisburg will begin newspaper recycling pick-ups on November 1. The newsprint pick-up is in addition to the city’s existing recycling program for glass, plastic and metal food packaging waste.
