FOUR ARRESTS MADE IN SEPARATE AND UNRELATED CRIMES

Harrisburg, PA – Mayor Stephen R. Reed today said that Harrisburg Police have arrested four individuals in connection with multiple unrelated crimes.

Reed said Deloryan L. Branch, 22, of no fixed address, was arrested on Tuesday, July 22, and was charged with two counts of burglary and one count of criminal attempt to commit burglary, in connection with three separate incidents that occurred last month.

The first incident occurred on Thursday, June 26, at 11:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of N. 6th Street. A convenience store on that block was burglarized and several items were stolen. The second incident occurred on Saturday, June 28, at 3:40 a.m. in the 2000 block of N. 7th Street. A convenience store on that block was burglarized and several thousand dollars worth of cash and merchandise were stolen. The third incident occurred sometime between Saturday, June 28, and Monday, June 30, in the 2900 block of N. 7th Street. A retail store on that block was broken into but nothing was reported stolen.

Branch has been charged with each of these burglaries. He has been remanded to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of posting bail.

Reed also said Kimberly S. Richardson, 18, of the 48 Row Hall Manor, was arrested on Tuesday, July 22, and was charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of criminal conspiracy to engage in robbery, two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of criminal conspiracy to engage in aggravated assault, possessing an instrument of crime and criminal conspiracy to engage in possessing an instrument of a crime, in connection with a robbery incident that occurred yesterday at 12:23 a.m. in the 1400 block of Derry Street.

Two victims were walking in the area when they were approached by Richardson and two other females. After a brief conversation, the suspects left and then again approached the victims. The victims were then assaulted by Richardson and the two other suspects. Several personal items were stolen from the victims.

Richardson has been remanded to Dauphin County prison in lieu of posting $25,000.00 bail. The names of the other two suspects have not yet been released by police.

Reed also said Leroy R. Bradley, 36, of the 3500 block of Athena Avenue in Susquehanna Twp., was arrested on Tuesday, July 22, and was charged with tampering with physical evidence, hindering apprehension or prosecution by concealing or destroying physical evidence, former convict not to possess/own a firearm and carrying a firearm without a license. He was committed to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of posting $250,000.00 bail.

Reed also said Nathaniel T. Garfield, 24, of the 1200 block of S. 13th Street, was arrested on Tuesday, July 22, and was charged with tampering with physical evidence and possession with the intent to deliver/sell a controlled substance. He was committed to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of posting $99,000.00 bail.
