POLICE SEEK HELP IN IDENTIFYING BURGLAR
Harrisburg, PA Mayor Stephen R. Reed today said that Harrisburg Police are seeking help in identifying a burglar that robbed a City business on Saturday, June 28, around 2:25 a.m. in the 400 block of S. Cameron Street.
Reed said police responded to the location upon receiving an alarm call. Arriving officers searched the premise and located a hole in a brick wall near the corner of the store. A sledge hammer was located in the bushes near the hole.
A surveillance video indicated that the possible burglar was a male, 25-35 years of age, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches and weighing between 160 and 180 pounds. The suspect has a medium complexion, dark hair, a dark beard, was wearing a hat, t-shirt, shorts, a dark belt and shoes.
Harrisburg Police have obtained the video surveillance of the suspected burglar, which is electronically attached to this release.
