MULTIPLE ARRESTS MADE IN UNRELATED WEEKEND CRIMES
Harrisburg, PA Mayor Stephen R. Reed today announced that multiple arrests have been made in connection with several unrelated weekend crimes.
Michael L. Daniels, 31, of the 1200 block of Rolleston Street, was arrested on Friday, June 27, and was charged with possession with the intent to deliver/sell a controlled substance, conspiracy to deliver/sell a controlled substance, possession of an instrument of crime with intent to use, possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was committed to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of posting $250,000.00 bail.
Brandi R. Ferrell, 24, of the 1400 block of S. 15th Street, was arrested on Friday, June 27, and was charged with intent to deliver/sell a controlled substance, conspiracy to deliver/sell a controlled substance, possession of an instrument of crime with intent to use, endangering the welfare of children and tampering with physical evidence. She was committed to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of posting a $99,000.00 bail.
Clifford Easley, 52, of no fixed address, was arrested on Friday, June 27, in connection with a burglary that occurred at around 5:50 p.m. on that date in the 600 block of Hamilton Street. Easley was located inside the residence by responding officers and claimed he was trying to use the restroom. Easley was charged with one count of burglary and was remanded to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of posting $25,000.00 bail.
Corlynn M. Parker, 21, of the 300 block of S. 14th Street, was arrested on Friday, June 27, and was charged with possession with the intent to deliver/sell a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, former convict not to own a firearm and for the possession of a prohibited offensive weapon. He was committed to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of posting $30,000.00 bail.
Harry E. Reyes, 22, of the 200 block of Francis Cadden Parkway, was arrested on Friday, June 27, and was charged with possession with the intent to deliver/sell a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. After being charged, he was released from custody on his own recognizance.
Katrinka L. Edwards, 51, of the 1200 block of Oyler Road, was arrested on Saturday, June 28, in connection with an incident that occurred at 8:12 p.m. in the 1200 block of S. 13th Street. Edwards was involved in an argument with a resident of that area when she assaulted the resident by hitting her in the head with a meat cleaver. Edwards was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and was released from custody after posting a $5,000.00 unsecured bail.
Magnolia Cunningham, 46, of the 1100 block of N. 2nd Street, was arrested on Saturday, June 28, in connection with a robbery and retail theft that occurred at 3:04 p.m. in the Kline Plaza Shopping Center. Cunningham was detained by security officials after being spotted stealing several food items. She was charged with one count each of robbery and retail theft and was committed to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of posting $25,000.00 bail.
Hassan C. Ward, 24, of the 2000 block of Chestnut Street, was arrested on Sunday, June 29, after a traffic stop was initiated at 1:07 a.m. in the 100 block of N. 16th Street. Upon stopping the vehicle, Ward exited the vehicle and attempted to escape police arrest. Upon capture, a search of Wards person yielded illegal drugs. A later search of his car yielded the same. Ward was charged with two counts of possession with the intent to deliver/sell a controlled substance, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, escape and disorderly conduct. He was committed to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of posting $15,000.00 bail.
Deloryan L. Branch, 22, of no fixed address, was arrested on Sunday, June 29, for a burglary incident that occurred around 10:26 p.m. at a retail store in the 2300 block of N. 3rd Street. Officers arrived to find that Branch had broken into the store and was still in the store upon arrival. Upon noticing the officers, Branch attempted to flee the scene. He was soon detained and arrested. Branch was charged with one count each of burglary, escape and possession of drug paraphernalia in connection with the incident and was remanded to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of posting $5,000.00 bail.
Marquitta N. Baskerville, 31, of the 1200 block of Swatara Street, was arrested in connection with an assault that occurred at 4:28 a.m. in the 300 block of Nectarine Street. Police were dispatched to the area and learned that an argument between Baskerville and another female resulted in Baskerville hitting the female in the head with a coffee mug. Baskerville was arrested for aggravated assault and was committed to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of posting $20,000.00 bail.
Matthew J. White, 30, of the 1700 block of Towpath Road in Dauphin, PA, was arrested after a traffic stop occurred on Sunday, June 29, at 1:21 a.m. near the State Street bridge. He was arrested for suspected driving under the influence of alcohol. White was later charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, possession with the intent to deliver/sell a controlled substance, driving under the influence of alcohol highest rate, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was committed to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of posting $30,000.00 bail.
