OFFICE OF THE DIRECTOR

The Public Works Department is administered through the Director’s Office, which is responsible for the overall management of the department’s resources. The Department consists of seven bureaus which provide major public works services: City Services, Traffic Engineering, Vehicle Management, Building Maintenance, Water, Sanitation and Sewer. With nearly 175 employees and a combined annual budget of approximately $37 million, the Public Works Department performs a vast array of functions.
